Chapter 1: The Lombardi Case 1975: A historical whodunit

As participants don their virtual detective hats, they are tasked with solving the enigma of The Lombardi Case 1975. Lombardi was created using a composite of four cases that captured my attention. the one thing all of these cases had in common was that they had happened in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the 1970s. if you don’t know much about history, let me tell you the 1970s, especially in New York City, were an incredibly challenging, exciting, vibrant place to live. Yes, the art scene was flourishing. The music scene was out of this world, but crime was high. drug addiction, prostitution, homicide, and a general sense of unease were everywhere. The origin of the Lombardi case was a young B movie actress who, like so many others, had come to New York with stars in her eyes. She wanted to become a working actress. Unfortunately, she was stabbed to death in bright daylight on the corner of Ludlow and Broome streets.  Her murderer still has never been brought to justice. so LIT took some of the most iconic archetypal characters you would imagine living in the Lower East Side and made them come to life in our magical, dynamic, thrilling, hilarious experience.

As the story unfolds, participants explore meticulously recreated virtual sets (yes, even on Zoom!) while they interrogate live characters and examine period-appropriate clues. You will peel back the layers as this world, and the crime comes into sharp focus. The Lombardi Case seamlessly combines historical accuracy with immersive storytelling, making it an unforgettable team-building experience that transports your team to a time when the trendy streets of NYC are transported to a view no one will ever see again. You will take a trip through the underbelly of crime and do all you can to save the chief by finding the culprit or culprits!
